Plant Protection - Gnatrol SC

Gnatrol SC is a suspension concentrate formulation containing 123 g/l or 11.6% w/w Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. israelensis, strain AM 65-52

 

Gnatrol® SC is a biological insecticide for use on protected ornamentals for the control of larvae of fungus gnats.

 

 

Benefits of Gnatrol® SC:

 

• Although Gnatrol® SC has no known effect on the development of populations of natural predators and beneficial insects in integrated pest management programmes, growers should consult appropriately before use.

 

• Gnatrol® SC is ingested by the fungus gnat larvae in the soil. After ingestion it breaks down the intestinal walls and the larvae stop feeding and die within 24-72 hours.
